How long have you been painting, how did you get started?
I ve been in business and licensed for four years.
I have been a painter for eight. When I moved to Auburn
I moved furniture for Bekins Van Lines for years.
Then I started looking for something more stable
I wanted to something closer to home, as a single
dad. I actually picked an ad out of the local paper
and found a painting contractor looking for help
I have been painting ever since."

What do you like about being a painter?
"The versatility, the challenge, the beautifying
of what was and what's now. I like people and
like working with people."

What is your specialty?
"Anything that is high off the ground. I like
doing high work. Commercial buildings and high
pitched roofs — anything big."

Who is your favorite artist?
"I really don't have one come to think of it
(My favorite music artist is) Chris Cornel
because what he writes about, the message he car
ries, where he has been, what he likes to be and
the acceptance of today."

What colors do you like to use?
I use anything. I try to stick to color schemes in the
neighbors or affect the price of houses. I will use
colors they use. I have schemes that I use that I
prefer to work with like earth colors, such as
pravado (a red), mallard green, Oxford brown or
Swiss coffee for trim or baseboard."
